Ever since the tragic events of 9/11, every good patriotic American has been looking for ways to help others and be a part of something special. Everyone is aware of the critical role the brave young men and women of our armed forces are playing in assuring our safety and essential freedoms and wants to show their appreciation for the sacrifices of this country's brave heroes who put their lives on the line ¡ª but most people often do not know how.
The Aleph Institute supports the troops. These packages are sent to Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine bases here in the United States, and to personnel stationed abroad such as Japan, Korea, Kuwait, Bahrain, Afghanistan, England, Germany, Turkey, Bosnia Saudi Arabia, Italy, Kosovo, Qatar ¨C and even Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
Aleph has shipped packages to Navy ships in the Arabian Sea. It serves as a source of hope and support through our continuous spiritual and rehabilitative activities throughout the year.
In furtherance of that goal, Aleph has created and implemented a host of programs over the past twenty years that provide alternatives to incarceration, rehabilitate inmates, counsel and assist their families, and provide moral and ethical educational programs inculcating universal truths and concepts common to all of humanity.
Aleph attempts to assist all, regardless of their religious observance, affiliation, background or lack of one.
