Bosch Security Systems announces four additions to its
innovative F220 Series detector line. An industry first, the F220- PTHC
photoelectric smoke detector uses both heat and carbon monoxide elements to
virtually eliminate unwanted alarms. The F220-135, F220-135F, and F220-190F
round out the series, cornering the market on fixed temperature and rate-of-rise
detectors.
The F220 Series has also received a California State Fire Marshal (CSFM) Listing, which allows the detectors to be used for primary fire alarm signalling in California. ?The CSFM listing enhances the series? value to our national, financial, and government customers, as well as central station dealers in California,? said Thomas Hauder, Product Marketing Manager for Bosch. ?The entire F220 Series delivers superior smoke detection over older technology ? including fewer false alarms, longer service life, and lower maintenance costs.? The extra measure of detection delivered with the F220 Series detectors offers customers more reliability in all types of environments ? from homes and small businesses to large buildings, high-rises, campuses, and office complexes. The award-winning F220 Series detectors share these innovative features: ? ChamberMaid? chamber cleaning (patent pending) saves time and effort ? Automatic compensation for chamber contamination extends the time between cleanings and reduces false alarms ? Dual-color LED indicates normal (green) or alarm (red) status ? CleanMe? sensitivity ? control panel knows when the detector needs cleaning ? 12V or 24V system compatibility ? Chamber Check? self diagnostics ?
