New Elmo MN400 One-Piece Hi-Res ?-Inch Color Micro Camera Accepts Variety of Micro and Macro Lenses

PLAINVIEW, NY, JUNE 1, 2004 ¨C A one-piece color micro camera with built-in CCU has been introduced by the ELMO Mfg. Corp. The compact MN400 color cameras, ? x ? x 3.15", accept a wide variety of ELMO ?" micro lenses and accessories. The cameras also accepts the same third-party accessories to adapt it for difficult environments and locations as the ELMO remote head micro cameras. With its built-in CCU, it does not require a separate control unit and operates on 12VDC. It weighs just 50 g. and is ideal for medical, machine vision, non-destructive testing, professional and broadcast video and specialized security applications. MSRP is $1230.

With a ?" 410,000 pixels CCD, 480 TVL (H) resolution and an S/N of 50dB, the MN400 delivers detailed, color accurate pictures. It performs exceptionally well in low light for a high resolution, compact sized camera s at 2 lux (F1.6 under incandescent lamp) illumination. It has RS-232C to provide remote control capability.

Performance enhancing features include: AGC, AWB, AES and flicker correction. For easy installation, it offers optional 8- pin detachable cables in 3 and 10 meter lengths.
