 Compact Zoom Lenses fit smaller camera housings. September 16, 2002 08:00 - Models 13PZA10x6C, 13PZG10x6C, 12PZA10x8C, and l2PZG10x8C 10x motorized 6-60mm and 8-80mm zoom lenses are available in 1/3 format for both Video Auto Iris and DC Auto Iris. Other improvements include moving cable outlet to rear side of lens so as not to obstruct camera housing, and strengthening internal mechanisms for both zoom and focus. Applications include airport systems, traffic control, and parking lots. Tamron Releases Compact 10X Motorized Zooms New Compact Design Allows Installment in Compact Camera Housings ISC East, Orlando, FL, August 14, 2002¡ªTamron USA, Inc. announced the release of a new version of its widely accepted 10X Motorized Zoom lens series that now provide a more compact chassis to allow the zoom lenses to fit into smaller camera housings. Feature-enhanced 6-60mm and 8-80mm Zooms are available now in 1/3 format for both Video Auto Iris and DC Auto Iris. The strong demand for motorized zooms for outdoor applications such as airport systems, traffic control (ITS), parking lots, and more, prompted Tamron to redesign the lens series to fit today's popular camera housing. Other improvements made to the high quality zoom lenses include moving the cable outlet to the rear side of the lens so as not to obstruct the space of the camera housing, as well as strengthening the internal mechanisms for both zoom and focus, thus ensuring very high reliability and endurance.
