    The monthly service fee allows you access to your Shell HomeGenie? Personal Home Page. This private page enables you to manage, monitor, and control your Shell HomeGenie? devices from anywhere in the world where Internet access is available. Your Shell HomeGenie? monthly service fee of $19.95* for the Shell HomeGenie? Basic Service includes all of the following:


    • Remote access to the Shell HomeGenie? Programmable Thermostat, Wireless Camera and Power Switch from any Internet connection including dial-up modem and web-ready mobile devices such as cell phones and personal digital devices (PDAs)

    • A Personal Home Page which includes "Mini-views" of your Shell HomeGenie? services, live video and still image capture, and remote access to your device settings

    • Personalized Email Address and 5MB account to send and receive email

    • Personalized Calendar to plan your individual and family events

    • Energy Usage Reports to review how you currently use energy in your home (available after December 1)

    The Shell HomeGenie? Wireless Camera allows you to remotely view and capture full-color images or live video of select areas in you home.     The Shell HomeGenie? Power Switch allows you to conveniently program lamps and many small appliances to turn on or off as you wish.     Programmable Thermostat (#1113)
    Easily monitor and control your home's temperature from home or away with the Shell HomeGenie? Programmable Thermostat. The Shell HomeGenie? Programmable Thermostat is compatible with most centralized HVAC systems* (gas, electricity, or both) and features all standard functions you'd expect to find in a wall thermostat: selectable heat/cool mode; fan on/off and auto; temperature hold; current and desired room temperature; and much more! The Programmable Thermostat allows you to set up to four temperatures a day for every day of the week. A Thermostat Base Unit is included that connects to your HVAC system and communicates wirelessly with your Shell HomeGenie? system.
