Manufacturer: Sony
Model: LCSVA30 Average User Rating: Number of User Reviews: 12 Reviewed by: mylliu from CA on Jul 28, 2004 Rating: Experience: 20 Days Strengths: Plenty room still compact Good product at affordable price Weaknesses: NA Summary: This case fits my Sony DCRHC40 MiniDV Digital Handycam Camcorder well. When I go out, I can put the camcorder, Mini DV and one Canon S410 all in the same case. The price is good. I compared it with the leather cases in local store and found this one is more lovely. Reviewed by: Hamchuck90 from TX on Apr 11, 2005 Rating: Experience: 7 Days Strengths: Strong, sturdy material. No rips or anything like that. Plenty of space and compartments Weaknesses: None Summary: (Edited April 12th by Hamchuck90) The bag was great for transporting both a camcorder and a digital camera in. I have a Sony DSC-P200 and that fits perfectly into the bag along with my camcorder. The main compartment has a divider so I was acually able to put both of them in there without having to be afraid that they'll scratch each other. 3 other mini compartments to put my extra MiniDV tapes, charger, and batters are very convenient. Reviewed by: msabnani from GA on Sep 28, 2004 Rating: Experience: 7 Days Strengths: Lots of Pockets for storing all accessories. Also quite sleek looking. Weaknesses: Quality not that great - Chinese product. Feels kind of Cheaply made Summary: It is well worth it I think - can keep my Digicam and Camcorder all together along with accessories - useful when travelling. Got mine for under $20 online - do a price search and you can find it. Reviewed by: topenvi from OH on Aug 2, 2004 Rating: Experience: 2 Days Strengths: small and light weight. it has plenty of rooms for acceries. good for most of small camcorders. Weaknesses: none yet. Summary: the quality is good and the price is cheaper than Circuit city or bestbuy. It is small and easy to carry. Also it has plenty of rooms for acceries such as battery, memory card, charger and cable. I'm very satisfied with it. Reviewed by: laura19650_0 from KS on Dec 21, 2004 Rating: Experience: 50 Days Strengths: It's genune leather, soft, light-weight and protective. Weaknesses: It's a little bit small and can only hold the camera, CF card and an extra battery. Summary: I think it is good--beatiful apperance and soft taching. The most important thing is-- it is thick enough, cushiony and protective. It's great! It saved my camera! One day I fall the camera down the floor carelessly, I thought I had destroyed my camera. But it is fine with no hurt.I took many pictures on that day and found no fault. What a relief! Reviewed by: laji2000 from TX on May 12, 2005 Rating: Experience: 10 Days Strengths: Good quality feel to it. Really like the SONY logo on the shoulder strap. Weaknesses: None I can find. Summary: It's a camcorder bag. Its spacious enough for all the basic accessories like your memory card, power cord, extra battery, DV tapes etc. Would recommend it for the casual camcorder user. Reviewed by: smallplace from MI on Nov 24, 2004 Rating: Experience: 7 Days Strengths: very good construction; attractive Weaknesses: Would prefer the word "Sony" not be so prominently displayed on the bag, making it more attractive to potential thieves. This case is a bit too small for my needs. Summary: I own a Panasonic PV-GS400 camcorder. The descriptions and reviews I've read surfing the net made me believe this would be the right bag for me. Not so. On days when I only want to carry my camcorder, a spare cassette or two, a spare battery, and filters, this bag is the one I will use. Usually, that is *not* all I want to carry. I did not anticipate my actual needs very well. Unfortunately, there is no room for a conversion lens for larger magnification of objects shot from far away--a major drawback for me. Accessories that came with my camcorder also do not fit well if at all. The manual fits if I fold it around the camera. If I had checked out the bag in a store, I would not have purchased it. Still, I like the bag well enough not to return it because it is so well made. Now I am back in the market for a more suitable bag, so that I will no longer need to carry 2 bags when I am out with my camcorder. Reviewed by: hanjunp from IN on Sep 28, 2004 Rating: Experience: Strengths: compact and light Weaknesses: seems perfect for sony hanycam but needs a little bit more space for other accessaries. Summary: this is simple and compact carrying case. it has many compartments for assesaries but seems too perfect size for them . If you buy bigger capacity battery, the main compartment will be occupied just with hanycam. Reviewed by: raichura from GA on Sep 16, 2004 Rating: Experience: 2 Days Strengths: Sony name and style. Good looks Weaknesses: Only buckle keeps it closed, not good for TRV70. Camera can bounce inside the case, not enough room Summary: Might be OK for HC20, HC 40 etc but would not recommend for TRV70 or TRV80. Inside the case, you can not put anything but camera. No side to side clearance but about 2" top to bottom clearance(after putting camera in) so camera can jump (up and down) inside the case while you are running! Wish it had another safety than only plastic buckle. Not impressed for its fit with TRV70. No room for manual or OEM charger inside. Reviewed by: c1h2i3d4 from WA on Sep 12, 2004 Rating: Experience: 1 Months Strengths: Compact carrying case; fits Sony DCR-HC85 camcorder with FP90 battery attached. Weaknesses: NA Summary: My camcorder (Sony DCR-HC85) is a big one; Even I have attached FP90 battery which makes the camcorder lengthier by 1 inch; Still I am able to keep the camcorder and pull it out without any problems. Reviewed by: fifths2 from NY on Aug 12, 2004 Rating: Experience: 12 Days Strengths: Roomy bag, elegant design and well manufactured. Weaknesses: None. Summary: Great travel case and roomy enough for cables, extra battery and tapes. Plenty of compartmments. This is Sony quality you expect. This not a camera cover. Bag comes with an excellent shoulder strap. Reviewed by: bostonhom from MA on Jun 11, 2004 Rating: Experience: 1 Days Strengths: sharp looking back. sturdy. Weaknesses: none Summary: (Edited June 11th by bostonhom) this is the second bag i purchased. a nice compact bag with side pockets on both ends. would definitely recommend over leather bag. this bag suits Sony mini-dv camcorder DCR-HC85. |
