What kind of view can I expect to get out of this camera?

Good question. The following example is a pretty good indication of the field of view this camera is capable of. Take a look at the 8mm view. This is about the closest you will be able to see at about 150 ft. The widest angle will look like something between the 2.8mm and the 6mm.
