Strengths: Compact design,infolithium shows charge left in battery

Weaknesses: runs down quickiy as comared to other batteries

Summary: Bought this as a second battery for my digital camera. Only getting about 90 min. life out of battery using flash and display 30 to 50% of the time. Infolithium is a great feature. Just beware of online stores offering generics as they probably won't be infolithium.

Strengths: Infolithium is a great feature--it tells you exactly how much battery life is left.

Weaknesses: This battery's life is too short, as compared to other digital cameras' batteries.

Summary: (Edited January 24th by blaundre) Beware of buying from Key Battery unless you want a generic battery. (It's web site states it's a Sony manufactured battery, but it's generic.)

I bought from ebuyer.com, and they shipped the correct order very quickly!

Strengths: Long lasting usage time. It can take up to 100 pictures with monitor on

Weaknesses: Usage time decreases in cold weather condition...and I'm in Chicago!!

Summary: The condition will be stable for a year. Then usage time will be decreased over time.(from previous battery I used) My old one can only take up to 30 pictures now.

Strengths: Compact, light-weight, sturdy encasement. InfoLithium calculates and displays remaining power in minutes.

Weaknesses: 90-85 minutes power use at full-charge. Shorter power time when using flash and display screen often. One battery is not enough for one-day outing sightseeing.

Summary: I own a Sony DSC-P10. I don't recommend using a generic battery with camera. My research shows the remaining power in minutes may not display. This info is crutial since the life of the battery is short. The battery performs as advertised. Although I feel Sony could have developed a more powerful battery. I find a 2-sec pause for the camera to recharge after each flash use. I believe the pause would be reduced if the battery was designed to provide more power. However, the design priority was obviously size before strength.

I bought mine from Amazon.com for $40 (no S&H)

Summary: Before I bought the Sony V1, I had read lots of reviews about the low capacity of the battery. That's why I bought the 2nd one, and found that it can only hold ~85mins, as expected.

Summary: I bought this battery for my Sony DSC-P10 digital camera & it provides updates on how many more minutes it would last. But the battery life after a full re-charge is around just 90 mins which forces the users to go in for an extra battery (the reason I bought it in the first place).

Summary: from my experience of the two batteries (one coming with my P10 digital camera, the other bought from etronics.com), i don't think the battery can work at long as what the p10 manual says. i use the flash by 50% and the battery gets no power so fast.

Summary: Overall, I like the battery. however, i bought this one as a backup and I noticed inconsistency in the capacity of the battery. On one, it can last 87 minutes for my Sony DSCV1, but the other one can only last 83 minutes. Also, it will be better if the batteries can be in the 30 dollars price range, instead of 60 dollars.

Summary: I purchased this battery as an extra battery for my Sony camera, but now I use it as my primary battery. It allows continuous shooting for about an 1 hour (with flashes) on a DSC-V1 which is about 30% longer than the stock battery.
