This Sony DVD Recorder has DVD+RW/+R, DVD-RW/-R, and DVD recording compatibility and uses an i.LINK? interface for editing and one-touch recording from DV/Digital8? camcorders. You can perform simple edits on the Sony DVD Recorder w/120G Hard Drive. Editing options include setting protection against erasure, labeling a title, and erasing a title or a section of a title. Use the HDD or a DVD-RW to watch a previously recorded program while recording another program on the same disc. You can also view the beginning of a program while it is being recorded. The included remote is already set up to control most TVs and other components. The DVD Recorder's TV Guide On Screen system displays a free television program listing. Search for your favorite program alphabetically or by category, such as movies or sports, and then set the timer to record that program with just the push of a button. This list displays the program name, promotions and related information for programs being broadcast up to eight days in advance for a maximum of 120 channels.
