It can call up search and filter criteria for cameras, time/date and specific information fields from recorder. Multi-screen display provides video pictures, user-specific retention of individual screen settings, and variable split display. Different cameras and recorders can be set up in split windows using drag and drop function.

New Advanced Remote Viewing Software For Dallmeier Hard Disk Recorders Announced By Elmo
PLAINVIEW, NY, FEBRUARY 2002 - The new PView 5.2 increases the range of functions for remote operation and viewing of Dallmeier Digital Video Recorders. The new viewing software offers many useful features and functions for management and configuration. This in turn, provides access to many operating features of the Dallmeier DLS-18 Digital Video Recorder. It can call up and use the search and filter criteria for cameras, time/date and specific information fields from the recorder. PView 5.2 is used with Windows 95,Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0, Windows ME, Windows 2000 and Windows XP operating systems, while still maintaining the stability of the Linux environment in the recorder itself.
User-friendly functions make it easy to take advantage of the full extent of the DVR's remote viewing and control capabilities. The many different display configurations (up to 20 camera windows) can be reduced, upsized, reconfigured in multiple display formats without any degradation of picture quality. The improved multi-screen display, allows optimum use of screen area, very high quality video pictures, user-specific retention of individual screen settings; variable split display and optimum performance during display. It is easy to set up different cameras and recorders in the split windows using a 'drag & drop' function, with settings always retained. It has extensive security features with backup. If a camera fails or a connection is broken during backup, the data is retained up to the time of the interruption. Start-up after power failure is flawless and does not require any user interaction. In addition to these features, the DLS-18 PView 5.2 can be used to control many of the most popular PTZ domes.
