Has anyone put together a home security camera
system using some of the
commonly available inexpensive CCD cameras (< $100)? Are you rding into
a computer using a video capture card?
It seems there is enough equipment out there to make a time lapse, or video
motion detected, rding without resorting to a time lapse VCR and
expensive video switching equipment.
Looking for ideas.

best buy and get a Ezonics camera for $49... then go get WebCam32 and
register it for $25. There is a function in WebCam32 which can do commands if
pictures change vs installing a motion sensor or something...
