  • Does not work with my new Canon XSI

  • Works great. Can't beat the price
This is a fine product. I use it with my Nikon D50. Tried it out the first day I got it and I was very pleased at it's performance. I also bought one for my friend who has a Canon Rebel XT. He was also pleased with it. I highly recommended this product....more info
  • works great
this remote works amazingly well with my Nikon D50. for the same price or less than the Nikon ML-L3 you get the same feature for entry-level Nikon cameras (the shutter release, basically), and compatibility with entry-level Canon and Pentax Digital SLRs and higher-end Canon point-and-shoot cameras as well. it even comes with the necessary battery and has a small eyelet for attaching a non-included strap. note with the singe- and triple-digit Nikon DSLRs (D3, D2X/Xs/H/Hs, D200, D300, for example) you need to use a 10-pin remote cord.

I tested the range with this remote, and I could trigger my Nikon D50 on remote mode from straight ahead at a distance I would conservatively estimate at 75 feet. this was immediately after I received the remote, so the battery was fresh....more info
  • A Real Bargain
I bought this for use with my Pentax istDS and it works like a charm. Compared to the Pentax remote control it's an incredible bargain. It may not adjust the zoom lens or focus on your model, but for tripping the shutter from a distance it's hard to beat....more info
  • Works well!
I bought this after a bit of searching for a remote for my Pentax k100d I have been using. I bought this for a song compared to the prices other brick and mortar stores were offering a remote for.

What use does this remote have for my camera? Well, at night I can press the shutter on the remote for zero vibrations for a razor-sharp photo. It's handy and my shot won't change accidentally from pressing the shutter on-camera. I can also take groups shots with me in it, without having to run into place after a few seconds. I can set my shot and fire off the camera with the remote after either a two-second delay, or no delay at all.

I didn't know for certain if this particular remote would work, but after trying it out (and enabling the remote settings in my camera), I discovered it worked flawlessly. Even though there are multiple buttons on this thing, each one seems to be made for a different brand of camera. I consider this a bonus, as my friend has a Nikon and I'm fairly certain this will work with it. Even with all of those buttons this thing is quite small! It's wafer thin and hardly bulky. It's construction is plastic, but seems quite sturdy considering it's size. I'm glad it has a hoop for connecting it to my bag with minimal fuss, or it could get lost. Another bonus is the small protective sleeve it comes with. Overall I'm quite happy with the buy. I saved over 30 bucks with this off-brand!...more info
